Verona is best known for its very well-preserved Roman
amphitheatre, the Arena. You'll find no pictures of
the Arena here, because it's not possible to do
justice to the Arena in a photograph taken from
ground level. The basic structure of the Arena is similar
to that of the Colosseum, but it's smaller in both
height and area, and the ellipse is further from circular.

The Ponte Scaligero (allegedly 14th century) is very photogenic:
